1.2 Million Ton/Year Fine Chemical Project No.4 Boiler Successfully Ignites
On June 19, the No.4 boiler of the 1.2 million ton/year fine chemical project was successfully ignited in the South Project Zone, Duguitala Industrial Park, Hangjin Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, which marks that the project has entered a new phase.
Vice General Manager of Inner Mongolia Yitai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. introduced about the project in an media interview. He said that "the ignition of No.4 boiler means that the utility work is basically completed. And the rest No.1, No.2 and No.3 boilers will be ignited one by one in the next three months. The installation of the main facility area will also be finished soon. Now we will clean the vapour system and then make trail run of the unit in 2 months after the cleaning. If the trial run is successful, we will start production in this November. The project will adopt the most advanced technology and achieve the most stringent environmental standards. In terms of wastewater treatment, we will use strong brine evaporation and crystallization technology. We will also extract industrial grade monomer during the treatment and recycling of the waste water. Under the current weak coal market, the project will promote the company’s structural transformation and development of new business. "
The 1.2 million ton/year fine chemical project adopts the CAS high temperature slurry reactor Fischer-Tropsch synthesis technology which has proprietary intellectual property right and the Changzheng Engineering’s pulverized coal pressurized gasification technology. The project makes synthesis gas from coal and then makes Fischer-Tropsch synthesis after the low temperature methanol washing and purification process. And the intermediate products can also be processed and made into multiple fine chemicals.
The successful of the 1.2 million ton/year fine chemical project will be decisive for the development of the company’s coal chemical industry, and it is also an iconic event for the industrial upgrade and structural transformation of the coal chemical industry.
